I just bought a GT683R and it's an i5 but it has the GTX 560M though. I just want to know your opinions/sugggestions/advices on how to check if my laptop has a defect. In my country, which is Philippines, you can return the laptop and replace it with a new one WITHIN 7 DAYS so I bought this 2 days ago(Dec 27) and I need to know immediately what to check.

Any advice would be a great help. Thank you.

You can use a few different things to benchmark your system and monitor temps to make sure everything is running the way it should be. Also, test out some games on it, to make sure performance is as it should be.

    Temps: Gpu-z, hwmonitor32/64

    Bench: 3mark11, 3dmark vantage

I have downloaded some monitor temps already and some apps to stress on my CPU but haven't downloaded something to stress the GPU though. Thanks for replying! :D

You can do a 2 minute furmark run, which will stress your gpu past any game would.
