Ok,
So from Alienware to MSI and don't feel like searching for hours to find this. What are the common temps on these machines for GPU and CPU? I was running WOW today and it was running about 80C for the CPU and about 52C for the GPU?
Now, one thing I haven't really figured out yet, is how you control the fans really. I have been letting it control itself. I know of the switch that makes them go full blast, but I don't really want to do that.
Any pointers or help would be much appreciated.
Awesome machine by the way, just received it a few hours ago, loving it!

Most of the reviews you are going to find are probably for the GT80 models with dual 980m probably. But your CPU temp looks fine, and the GPU looks great. You probably don't need to turn the fans on to max if you are playing WoW as it really won't push the system to max.

The only way to manually control fans is using the software Silent Option from MSI. You would have to install it and then configure it.
Your temp seem fine. Depending on the load they can get hot but 80 is alright. I get as hight as 90s on a hot day. -
Thanks Ryzeki. Reading through all the threads now.

Wow tends to be more CPU heavy IIRC. So long as your CPU was staying clocked up you are all good

Yea I have played almost everything on it and it stays pretty consistent. I did uninstall Windows 10 and go back to 8.1, the factory load. I like Windows 10, but the Firewall is professional based like a corporate group policy. You can go in and turn it off, but it still enforces it. Very frustrating, I tried playing every game I had, nothing. I reloaded to Win 8.1 and all was well.

Very odd, I did not have port issues with 10 with any of my games. Sounds like it was an issue rather than how it is intended to work.

It was unreal I know that. Maybe just a bad install, not sure. I haven't read of many others having that issue, but it would be my luck lol.
