I waited the the new model of GE63VR and GS63VR with Coffee Lake cpu and thet only have only 128 gig ssd !
We cannot do nothing with 128 gig ! Ever if we install everything on the second drive, the C: will always grow up so it'll
be saturated very soon and it's difficult to change the ssd on it (for GE I don't know but for GS serie yes because we have to remove the mother board) I prefer to pay 50-100$ more to have a decent and usable 256 gig ssd like many configuration of 7th generation !

Probably I will go for GS65 because of that, but I'm waiting review to see if it's solid and I need more money to afford it. :(

I'm also watching price of GS63VR but it's always >2160$ in canada (256gig ssd, 16 gig ram and gtx 1060)

Last weekend I can buy a GS63 with 512 gig ssd for only 1500$ CND! (with postal rebate) but the video card was only a 1050, I need at least 1050ti but the price jump more than 500$ to get a 1060... it's very crazy.. ! The life is really hard with me ! :)

    Or you look for a reduced 7th gen GE63 with a 1070 and a 256gb SSD ;) I'm sure there'll be a few reduced to clear.....

    msi ge63vr 512gb ssd + gtx 1060 1750$ (with 200$ postal rebate) :
    https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Produ...m_re=GE63VR_RAIDER-215-_-34-154-740-_-Product

Is it a good buy ?

I know the gx63vr is more popular but I don't really need a gtx 1070 and it's probably noisier :
    msi gx63vr gtx 1070 256gb ssd + 1tb 7200 rpm 2050$ (50$ postal rebate):
    https://www.newegg.ca/product/produ...c-criteo-ca-_-gaming+laptops-_-msi-_-34154732
    256gb + 1tb 7200 rpm gtx 7700

or the new ge63 rgb with coffee lake cpu 6 cores 2100$ :

The screen is the same I think on these 3 models...!?

The screen is the same on all the models. It really depends on your needs for the system itself. I know you said you don't *need* the 1070 but you wouldn't see any noise increases due to that.
