GE600 owners rejoice! The long awaited ATI drivers are finally out, available on the MSI website:
MSI Global ? Computer, Laptop, Notebook, Desktop, Mainboard, Graphics and more

After watching some 1080p and 720p HD videos on youtube, I do not see the infamous black screen problem on my external monitor (although I must admit, I rarely saw that problem even before the driver upgrade). The windows score for graphics and gaming graphics are both 6.7 (not sure if they were they 6.7 before).

    Tips for the installation:
    1. Switch to the ATI Radeon GPU for the install
    2. If you are using Win7x64, point the installation path to "C:/Program Files(x86)/ATI Technologies" (the default path is C:/program files/ATI Technologies")

The WE is 6.7 for the stock drivers that come with the GE600. I have not had any problems, but will upgrade at some point as I know some minor issues are resolved by these drivers.

I suppose you dont know that AMD has already started providing reference drivers, which means we dont need to actually rely on Manafacturer's website to wait for new drivers.

    The latest drivers are 10.6

I know that, but I heard that the GE600 is a bit different due to the GPU switching capability.

You are correct, JunkStory. You cannot just install the ATI drivers without a few special steps (detailed in the other GE600 thread here). The MSI supplied drivers work properly and are the ones officially supported by MSI.

Some will prefer to play it safe, others will get the ATI ref drivers and try them.

    It's good to have choices.
