My AC Adapter seems to have overheated for my 1722 and I have to replace it. However, when I looked up the part number on it, it shows of Toshiba laptops using this same adapter. Can someone confirm this so I know that I am buying the right one?

the adapters are always going to be somewhat universal. i know the clevo one i have works fine on my msi and visa versa i have also bought hp ones for the compal and that one works on the msi as well. you just have to make sure the end is correct to fit in the notebook and the wattage is right

does anyone know of some high wattage power supplies? Mine is currently 120W.

I looked on ebay and all the 200W+ are alienware or dell and aren't compatible.

    Search eBay for "PA-1121-04"

    19V, 6.3A, 120W

I recently bought one and it works fine.

as long as the rest of the specs are okay simply cut the end off the dell one and your old one or another one you have that fits and solder it on there and heatshrink it. done this many times in the past
