    A few days ago I purchased a GT72S-6QE.
Absolutely in love with it, but I have noticed when using the trackpad recently that the trackpad will quit responding for 10 seconds and then start working again for awhile then stop and continue this.

I am fairly certain it's not hardware related, pretty sure it's software / driver related.
Rebooting seems to make the issue go away for awhile, I have updated all the laptops drivers and bios to the most current versions from MSI's website and Nahamic 2.

Has anyone had this issue that could maybe help with suggestions, I haven't really installed much on the laptop outside of steam and a few games.

I am hoping to figure it out on my own but I still have 10+ days to return it if need be, but I don't really want too.

Did you update the EC as well? Or reinstall touchpad drivers, that might have some effect.

Try removing the driver completely and reboot the system, then try the touchpad without driver for awhile to verify.
If there's no more problem running like this, then reinstall the touchpad driver using the latest version from MSI's website.
