Folks,
I'm a little confused...
Tom's Hardware had the below article which linked to a press release on the "new" GS63VR's that was posted on MSI's website.
http://www.tomshardware.com/news/msi-gt73vr-gt63vr-gaming-laptops,35449.html
https://msi.com/news/detail/6oqhvw1...FXXEpFeDuV2U2PzZ0dFdqxuPFJZcprV9FwtG1Bpuf5w~~
In addition, Tom's is referring to it as GT but MSI's website clearly says GS.
Thoughts?

Yeah, I read that article. They make it sound like they have full-fat 1070s and have been renamed as GT63VR, which I find weird. Calling in @hmscott @Phoenix as the well-informed people who help a lot.

Also tagging @Donald@HIDevolution @Kevin@GenTechPC since they are resellers and may have info we don't.

Jesus..... Another one.... More expensive than GE cause of 1070 MAX-Q aka 1060 ..... Same horrid thermals. What the hell are they thinking?

Seems to me like MSI just released a news briefing of the already released MS63/73 with MaxQ for marketing purposes and tomshardware picked it up, and screwed it up, making it seem like a new release.

After verifying, it is a typo. It's still called GS63VR. If you have any questions, feel free to let us know, thank you.

It appears you have all sorted it out correctly...nothing for me to add.
