    Yeah, I read that article. They make it sound like they have full-fat 1070s and have been renamed as GT63VR, which I find weird. Calling in @hmscott @Phoenix as the well-informed people who help a lot.

    Seems to me like MSI just released a news briefing of the already released MS63/73 with MaxQ for marketing purposes and tomshardware picked it up, and screwed it up, making it seem like a new release.

    It's gotta be a typo - these aren't GT laptops, following the links it's the GS series with the new 1060 and Max-Q 1070, I don't think there is a full 1070 model, and MSI has messed up their ad copy before with this - leaving out Max-Q only to add it to the specifications tab data and a small footnote that it's Max-Q in the Overview.

    Yeah they continue with the misleading marketing, mentioning the 1070 a few times, but only in the specs table is MaxQ cited.
