    Need some opinions on cooling GT76 Titan

    OK, folks, I need some opinions. I just finished some major (conventional) cooling improvements. I am letting it bake in right now, so give me a program or game with a built-in bench that taxes the CPU and GPU simultaneously. I'm looking for real-world games\benchmark programs.

    So far I'm planning Firestrike and Strange Brigade.

    Seriously though, you don't bake it in you just use it. If your normal usage is fine - if you don't thermal throttle - you can be happy it's working as you like. What was it you were running that motivated you to fix the cooling? Run that.

    I like to use hwinfo64 as it's got a couple of lines of "Thermal Throttle" indicators, and along with the normal core temps you can save a log of your temperature measuring session and use Excel or another spreadsheet program to read the log output - read along horizontally in time and find each peak temperature - it's usually only a brief spike and see that it's running cool the rest of the time, same for thermal throttling, if it comes and goes mostly cool then it's ok.

    The 3dmark tools are fun to see if changes improve CPU (physics) and GPU scores, and those will briefly spike temps.

    p95 prime run Small FFT and disable AVX/AVX? and watch temps with hwinfo64.

    There are a bunch of them but you should be able to tell while gaming or doing whatever you got the laptop to do as to whether it's improved - or needs more work.

    Just curious if you have any updates on the results you've been getting? Also what kind of cooling did you end up going with? I'm currently trying to decide between getting the GT76 with the ceramic Kryonaut versus the delidded cpu + liquid metal Conductonaut.

    Oh man, I completely forgot I posted this here. After getting only a few replies I just figured nobody was interested.
    Then I went into the hospital for a few days and it just slipped my mind.

    I did plan on getting back on this very soon.
