I recently recicved a brand new PowerPro laptop and i'm having a problem. When I first turned it on, i checked the device manager and it said it recognized a 580m (without installing any drivers). After numerous updates and a fresh windows install on my m4 SSD, the display adapter now reads Standard VGA grpahics adapter and the graphics drivers that came with the disk (268.90) does not recognize a compatable graphics hardware to install it to. Any suggestions? Im downloading the newest drivers from nvidia right now but its gonna take about 12 hours due to my internet situation. Thanks in advance.

    I'm guessing that 260.98 doesn't support the 580...
