    Hi fellas,
I got my hand on a medion erazer chassis.
As I had a genuine MSI Gt70 motherboard lying around, I decided to install it inside. It works nicely apart from the touch sensitive mutimedia bar (the one with light / airplane / fan... touch sensitive buttons).
Quite normal as the bar is different from the genuine MSI GT70 one.

I'd like to know if I can flash an EC firmware from medion (or other whitebook) on my GT70 motherboard and keep the original MSI bios?

And if it's safe to do so, can someone provide me the EC firmware file from a medion erazer / whitebook?
Has to be Ivy Bridge version with optimus.
    Thanks a lot
