I´m the owner of this model:

    MSI GT683R » Laptops.dk - mærkevarer til lavpris! »

The laptop runs great but lacks of performance

In WEI my processor gets 4.5 (I know WEI is´nt the best app) but still the score should be around 7.

    In 3DMark 06 it gets under 5.000

I have tried flashing BIOS to version 3.0 without getting better scores.

It seems the processor is having some kind of problems but I can't figure out how to solved this issue

    Strange.
Which profil have you got? Choose gaming mode (Fn + F5). Hope so you make this 3DMark test with adapter.

all I can think of is your GPU is down clocking for some reason

Have you got the lastest GPU drivers installed ?

I might consider a fresh OS install with the latest drivers as well ?

Is there any unkown devices indicated in the device manager?

    Hi

I have donwloaded latest driver on nVidia

I have tried fresh install twice - F11
    And new 64bit drivers

There is no unknown devices in Device manager

It´s not a slow GPU but CPU

Look at your Windows Task Manager and see if there are any processes running excessively and also look at the Performance tab and see what the CPU's Usage and Memory are doing

There is no place in BIOS to change this

There is no process with high CPU use

Really? There is in the 16F2, check again. If not, make sure you have the latest bios.
