    Hello all the computer genuses;

    I purchased my laptop MSI GT60 20D-026US from Xocticpc a month ago w/ modification of wireless intel N 6235 instead of Big Foot. W/i a week of using Windows8, my laptop crashed on me several times, including while surfing the net.
    I decided to do clean install of win7. However, win 7 could not recognize (support) my wireless card and discrete 780M video card.
    So I decided to switch back to win8. However, upon installing drivers for win8, now the discrete 780m card is non functional. Only the on-board video card works at this time.
    I opened device manager: it said - the video card 780m experiences problems. Code 43. I have no idea what it means.

    I tried to google, and talked to Xoticpc tech. No thing has worked so far. Can anyone help me out with this problem??

    If you want my clear opinion and help:

    1. Do a system restore with the original disks created from your system restore (If you do not have them you can get them from here http://forum.notebookreview.com/msi/719029-official-msi-gt60-2od-owners-lounge.html - xMAR99 was so kind to post them for everyone's need);

    2. Remove the killer drivers from the device manager and install the intel ones for your wifi card;

    3. If you NVidia 780M still does not work, contact MSI and tell them your problem (I hope you registered / activated your machine with them).

    Please do not open the machine if you do not know what is going on because you may have a faulty GPU and it may require to be replaced.
