Alright everyone stick with me for a minute. I was set on getting a GT70 last week but changed my mind at the last minute and bought a Asus G750JW from Amazon. Before I bought it I read reviews and knew what I was getting into. I knew that the speakers sucked but I didnt know that they were this bad. I have an Astro a50 headset but only use that on my X1 and PS4. I only play a few games on the pc like Farming simulator, Far Cry 3, Skyrim and both borderlands games. Anyway just a few minutes ago I was listening to Pandora and my subwoofer started cracking and went completely out. I have restarted the computer but still no sub.

Now for the reason Im here. Being I just got it on saturday from Amazon should I send it back to amazon and get a replacement or send it back and buy the GT70? I know the GT70 wont run as cool as the Asus but I know the sound is FAR superior to the Asus. Also for $100 I will be getting the GTX 870m and way better sound. Sorry guys this just really annoys the hell out of me. IMHO I want the GT70 :)

Yes, the sound is one of the major selling points for MSI laptops due to the implementation of Dynaudio.

Yea I called Amazon last night and got a shipping label and as we speak I just boxed it up and getting ready to take to the UPS store and send it back. Is what sucks is Amazon wont exchange it I have to return it and wait for the money to be put back in my account then order the MSI which means I wont have another computer until late next week if im lucky!.

I wouldn't go so far as to say the MSI has "FAR superior" sound quality. The Dynaudio is better, but the two sound systems are not world's apart. Hopefully you'll be happier with it once it comes in, though (and hopefully no more broken woofers). :)
