    MSI GT60 2PC Dominator.

I went to upgrade the BIOS (using the Bios utility, not the EZFlash Windows ********) and on reboot, went to black screen with cursor and hung up. I waited a bit, then restarted it.

It didn't actually do the "flash" portion IMO...

It booted into Windows 10 a couple times later (had to pull the battery) but it will not do it anymore.

I followed this procedure, no luck: (removing HD and Optical)
    https://service.msicomputer.com/msi_user/support/techfaqdetail.aspx?formid=3046

I tried resetting the CMOS by pulling the black/red wire off and shorting it for a second (without the Main Battery in) and while it takes a few seconds longer to start up, it just goes to the MSI Logo.

    Any other ideas?

Can you access the bios or a USB drive? Only thing I can think of is to try to flash bios via a dos bootable flash drive.

Are you still able to access your Win10? If yes, there's a way to flash it in the OS.

No I can not. It will not allow me anything. The MSI Logo comes up, done. Nothing else gets accessed :(

Try disconnecting all of the HDD/SSD devices in the system, and try again to see if it proceeds to boot or not. Otherwise, you may need to check other area of the system.

If after trying those steps and cannot access bios or USB flash drive, with no other drives in the laptop, I would say it is a bad flash and MSI would need to service unfortunately.

No. I was able to get RMA from MSI. Hopefully they fix it, as it wasn't my fault. If they do, I will purchase future MSI Laptops (This is my 4th), if not, I wont.

MSI will take care of the issue since it was caused by a bad BIOS flash under warranty so you will be fine. :)
