Screen is completely black, the fans start going but I hear no sound. It wont even enter bios. Whats wrong? Is my motherboard fried? Or do I need to flash my bios?

You have to give some more detail. What and when it hapened ect.
-
You can try disconnecting the AC and battery for a minute to see if that helps, my 1036 occasionally gets stuck (especially after a freeze) and must be disconnected like that. -
What happened was that the laptop locked up during the startup with the company logo in the bios. Nothing worked at this point, so I had to unplug the battery in order to turn off the computer. Now it only shows a black screen when I turn it on.
I did try removing the AC and the battery for a night, but it was just as dead next morning.
Flashing the bios means resetting it to default, which I think would fix my problem, if it is my bios that isnt working correctly. Problem is that I dunno where the cmos battery is placed. -

Remove the system doors, the battery will be in view. It should be coated with plastic with 2 wires, remove it from the system board for about an hour. Also make sure A/C and main battery are removed. This should clear the bios, i have seen this correct similar problems. -
I have exactly same problem, PC won't boot at all. It is similar to thread=77678.
thanx -
Well,I removed the outer battery (I haven't open notebook at all) and I din't touch it for few ours and suddenly It started as it should, without any problems

My 1022 used to do that, I would hold down the power on button for a few seconds longer, and it will usually boot up normally. But I'm not experiencing the problem anymore now, though I'm not sure what I did to fix it, sorry.

Another universal MSI problem no one will admit to.
