My existing setup consists of two external 24" ACER (1920x1080p)monitors connected to the Laptop through a graphics expansion module via the m-DP port that extends my resolution to 5760x1080. I would like to run my games in the same resolution however, the ingame display setting is locked to 1920x1080 and the game runs only on my Laptop screen(Screen 1), which is set as the default.

Can someone help me out as to how can I extend the game screen resolution to 5760x1080??

You can't do that in an optimus setup, it's not supported.

Thanks for the update. Is there a way to disable Optimus or will my laptop be able to run a game in this type of setup if Optimus is disabled?

I tried my GT70 on laptop screen + one external - had just to create a 3840x1080 mode.

If I run the Unigine Valley Benchmark on the same setup, I'm getting the desired 5760 x 1080 resolution. It's running on the DGPU.

You can see it's doing something odd with the right screen there, are you running windowed mode?
