Nobody can tell you that until we know the specs. Since it is BGA it will greatly depend on the hardware we're talking about.

That is going to be quite expensive, my guess is around 1.2k USD. Doesn't the system have warranty?

No need to panic. Just find a repairshop that actually repairs the mainboard. Then u can get away with around 100 bucks.

It's 1.2k because it's BGA. That's the price you pay for buying BGA. CPU is soldered on the motherboard, so you aren't just buying a motherboard. You're buying a CPU too.
wait a minute. I thought you already repaired the motherboard?

this is what happens when you purchased a computer with soldered graphics + cpu, you pay for whatever dont need replacement is soldered to them. time to go for LGA clevo so you actually pay for whats really needed, at least at a much more affordable level.

that certainly is tough, after going into laptop space i went mostly diy, as much as i could anyway in terms of learning it and the cost of it. iirc gt83vr isnt exactly cheap either but i just recently bought a barebone laptop and separately bought cpu, ram from other places. risk involves everywhere you go and if people are insufficient in knowledge or where to buy, best chance they can opt for is warranty. pay for someone else to do the work and their knowledge, con is high cost, and risking if they make mistake you take the hit for spending extra time and hassle.

in general, its big populated countries same as china and people getting rich there real fast, would be surprising not to see some resellers soon. how big is notebook market in India?

Well the laptop market in india, its basicalyy for companies like msi asus dell etc is like "dump outdated products for high price", people here are so illeterate in terms of pc laptops mobiles etc that they will check that the laptop must have 16gb ram, but they wont know is it ddr3 or ddr4! They are so dumb even if you ask them what is diffrence between desktop cpus and laptops cpu, they will tell both are same! This is why manufacturers dump their outdated products for high prices and people here are even happy and in most cases thrilled to buy them!!

So far i have only met one indian in this forum with excellent knowledge in this things, @Vasudev

Even I was dumbfounded after my AW purchase thinking that I won't have problems but I had problems after a week. So dell techs *fixed* and *broke* like it was plastic toy sold for a dollar or two. Then, I took matters into my hands and fix their problems using all the help I can get @judal57 @Papusan @iunlock @Mr. Fox @Phoenix @Mobius 1 @VICKYGAMEBOY helped me greatly. I was a constant nagware for judal57 asking him how to do anything each and every time but he happily helped me.
