    Hi fellas,
I just want to report an odd behaviour of my gt70. I replaced the venerable 770m gtx with a 8gb 980m gtx and if I want to play games on battery only the laptop shuts down quickly after the game is launched. I noticed that the 980m is at P0 state (full specs) and does not throttle automatically on battery. Whatever windows performance profile I choose I still have the same auto shutdown.
My opinion is that the 980m draws too much power and triggers the safety of the battery. I wish I could lock the 980m in low power mode (P1 state?) when I'm running on battery. Does anyone know how to do that?
    Thanks a lot

Uninstalled nvidia driver with ddu and reinstalled all. Seems ok now.
