Hello all. I'm merely posting here in regards to a touchpad issue that I am hoping someone here can help remedy. I just got a GT60 20C last week and I find that at times when i run my finger across (or up or down) on the touchpad it wont register so I will have to do it again. I say this because I'm assuming this is a sensitivity issue but I currently have no idea how to rectify it. The drivers are up to date, so I know that's not the culprit. Can someone please help?

There are settings you can modify over the touchpad software, such as the very sensitivity you mentioned. Try checking the synaptics program, either on control panel or your tray.

I do indeed see the options but nowhere in the Synaptics programme through either the control panel or the system tray is there an option to alter sensitivity. Multiple finger gestures, scrolling, etc... but nothing on sensitivity. I thank you for the suggestion but that's sadly hasn't solved the issue as of so far.

I will try to check ASAP on my machine when I get home to see how I can help you change the settings.

For me, in the Synaptics program it's under the "Pointing" heading, expand it out and you should see it.
