While playing low end HL2 mods I can usually get in an hour or so, but then the screen turns black, the blue led power button stays lit, and the sound loops. I've read a lot on this forum with people with simmilar problems but It seemed that they didn't post their successes. If anyone has any idea on how to help me, I would appreciate it. :D Ty in advance

Edit: its more than just the HL2 mods when I've had problems with the following Unreal tournament(both off steam and on,) Giant's Citizen Kabuto, Team Fortress 2, Half Life, Call of Duty W@W, and I haven't tested much else. Pretty much every game I've played I've had problems with. I don't believe its overheating either, I've had it tilted upright for air flow with a fan blowing toward its under carriage and it still would do the black screen. Please help.

I'd say it's a drivers problem or something. In this thread there's a lot of people complaining about the same. There're some possible solutions posted in there, maybe one works for you.

I've experienced the same issue playing Batman Arkham Asylum. It was a random thingie. No problems with other games.
