    Anyone have any experience, good or bad, with the MSI GX720-032US? I am looking at one and trying to find more info. Thank you.

    Thanks. They don't have this model on Newegg but the other models seem to have pretty positive reviews. Was hoping there may be some owners here. :)

    Main thing other than overall quality, does this model have the ability to have two drives installed?

    I don't think this supports a second hard drive. I'm pretty sure it's the same chassis as all of the other 17" GX and GT models.. I could be wrong.

    The MXM III is good, so you can upgrade to a better gfx card later..

    Where are you looking to purchase this? Link?

    I'm guessing this is coming in around $1k?

    Several places have them available for about $1200, probably not such a good deal now that I found out about Gateway. Also I have been reading the threads here about the new MSI's coming with ATI 4850's, those look pretty good and pricing seems reasonable.

    Just when I think I know what I want something else comes along.

    Actually no, the slow boat from Japan to the USA through China with a stop at the north pole. That's about what you could do in the time I've been looking for a notebook. I'm very patient :)

    why do you say 'from Japan'? MSI is made in Taiwan,PRC.
