    Hello users.

I'm having difficulty adjust the brightness on the Msi Gx60 that I'm testing.
It won't let me adjust the brightness using either the keyboard shortcut or slider in power options.
I've also tried changing Adaptive brightness but again to no avail.

    Please help.

Uninstall your monitor driver from Device Manager and let Windows reinstall the default one. You're not using TeamViewer by any chance, are you?

    :)

TeamViewer is a program for remote access. Another user here on NBR ran into the same issue when using it. Reinstalling their monitor driver fixed it (on an Asus laptop anyway).

Another suspect is the graphic driver.

If you haven't noticed, there is a GX60 Owners Lounge, where this help question might have been a better place to post.

    Why start a new thread?

    Thanks for the input everyone.
Ive tried uninstalling monitor but nothing changed
Would uninstalling both Gpus cause them to revert back to stock drivers?
Ive already installed several different AMD drivers consecutively one after the other.

The reason I created a new thread is because of urgency, significance and that I dont have the time to search through those owners lounge threads.

EDIT - uninstalled drivers and re-installed stock.
    Sorted the issue.

However, how will I go about updating future drivers?

Same as you always have. If the latest driver recreates the problem, then roll back one version (for example, if you were running 13.2 beta and reinstalling 13.2 beta revived the issue, then try using 13.1. 13.1 doesn't work? Try 12.11 or 12.10).
