Hi guys, I have a Msi Gt72 6qd (970m) with a broken screen that i have to replace could anyone tell me what model the screen is? I believe its a N173HGE-E11 but i would like to be sure. And if you could recommend someplace online to buy it that would also be a great help.
    Thanks

I believe it was the LGD0469 LP173WF4-SPF1 from what I've seen in the past. However, MSI could use different suppliers too.

I am assume you are using external monitor right now and you can still boot to Windows, just go to device manager and go to Monitors > properties> Details > Hardware ID and it should show which panel you have.

Sadly no. I have a new computer. A Msi gs73vr. The gt72 is in the service but they tell me that the replacement screen costs something of 500usd. I cant believe its so expensive. Thats why i want to find out by my self if thats real or if they just want to steal my money.

$500 seem very expensive even with labor. Both N173HGE-E11 or LP173WF4-SPF1 will work and if you can get the parts and able to replace yourself it will save you a lot of money.
