Very nice, now we can compare models without going anywhere!
Great job man -
Yeah. Nice and convenient, but were the pictures necessary? Haha... they all have the same chassis/pic.
-
So the GT628 will support DDR3 RAM but the barebones is still limited to DDR2?
-
awww. too bad theres still no sign of the gx623 anywhere.
-
Any word yet on the gt729?
-
I will have an answer tomorrow about when the GT729 will be released in the US.

Re: the GX623
I got an email back from Tom Ho at MSI after I emailed him to ask about the GT628 and GX623 and he said both would "probably" be out in mid-August -
well, i have a gx630 i just bought, but i never see any mention of it anywhere... does it suck or what?
-
Its doesnt suck, its just there low end gaming laptop. Its still very good for playing games. Its also AMD which does not fair well against intel. You should upgrade the cpu to a AMD Turion™ X2 Ultra. There the fastest you could use in the GX630. Hope this helps.
-
AMD CPU do fantastic in games, even against intel, its other activities that they dont do so well in.
-
Your right but they run very hot compared to intel and certian amd cpu's dont OC very well.
-
I dont believe this is the case here, and AMD are notorious for better undervolting because of different components, i bet we could have his AMD proc running cooler then anything we pop in our machines.
-
AMD is better for OCing it gives you lower oc delta temps than intel in most cases.
-
Any update on when the 729 is coming to the US?
-
Yes in early September..
-
