    Msi Ge62 6QF blacklight led problem

    Hello everyone. I have msi ge62 6qf and i have this problem. My keyboard blacklight is not working, i have steel engine 3 but and every posible updated driver and still i dont have any light on my keyboard. Tell me some app or something to turn it on . I will killmeself i want it so badly, actually i bought it because of the blacklight of the keyboard

    When i recieve it it was not working at all because the windows inside was somehow not good and i put windows 10 registered. But i never seen the led blacklights it action :/

    I would say it is a hardware function (EC - Embedded Controller) so it shouldn't require a functional OS.
    Can you try doing an EC reset by disconnect AC adapter, and detatch its battery out for like a minute, then reconnect just the AC adapter?

    After you do the EC reset/or even a reflash also you might want to check the ribbon cable for the backlight if it is plugged in.

    Open,remove battery, plug in charger, turn on laptop - KABOOM - you have blacklight! Turn off, put battery, close and ok
