    Hi,

can someone plz teel me what i m dong wrong here.
I have one SSD and One HDD both have windows installed but i use my HDD primarily for storage and SSD for bot up, but lately afte i recovered both drives, it seems i can set the priority right.

I have to press f11 manually to select otherwise it would boot up from HDD.

Have you got into the BIOS to arrange the boot priority to have the SSD first.

Take picture of your boot sequence menu and post it here if you are still stuck so we can guide you.
    1st boot device = SSD.
And disable the rest by setting them all to Disabled.

thank you for your reply guys, actually i kinda figured out the problem.
I had OS installed in both drives wich is why the boot order was random, now that i have wiped my mech drive all seems to be working fine

    thanks once again :)

But as a question, do you think having OS in both drives would have made any difference to booting sequence or thats entirely different matter?

Not really if you know how to use Windows Boot Manager to control them.

It will boot the first OS it finds in order of the boot devices, so it finding the OS on the HDD before the SSD caused it to boot that way.
