Okay im guessin that since my 4850 works with msi 1651 it should work with the 1722 but i was wondering what heatsink i would have to get or does the original work trying to get 1722 since it has quad support an the feel or the keyboard layout lile all 17inch or similar to 1651

Of course it works. You need the heatsink of GT725/GT735, which is hard to find. Also there is some way to mod the heatsink of GT627, but I never did that and I don't know details.

For what I know, RK can special order GT725 heatsinks- I know cause I asked Rob about it and he gave me a price on the heatsink for GT725.

I don't know how RK finds heatsinks, but before when I was looking I saw them selling one for 75$. Same time on eBay there was another one ... I'm not sure about the exact prise ... 35 or 45$

For what I know, RK computers, as a MSI reseller, can ask for repair parts, and they are able to get the heatsinks separately.
