There is no info on this forum about this barebones. The specs are similar to the GX630, but it doesn't have that stupid red strip. :D I just picked one up for under $290 shipped. Does anyone have any info about this system? I bought the Hitachi 7K320 hard drive too. Looks like I'm going to get a Turion Ultra instead of the Athlon used in the GX630 because I want the extra cache. How much of a speed difference is there among the models? Does this have 3 wifi antennas and can I use an Intel card? Thanks!

Is there no love for AMD? :'-(
Anyways, I ordered 4GB of RAM, some Arctic Silver, and a ZM-80. I'll get a wifi card when I figure out which model I want and if the MS-1652 has 3 antennas. I will write up a fully illustrated review when I get everything here and assembled.
PS: this thread is already the #4 search result for MS-1652!

I am a long time AMD user, the only non AMD CPU I have had sense my old K62-500 was the famous 300 Celeron.

Sense finding the 1652 on e-bay I have been considering getting it instead of the 1651.

Lets see if I can remember my CPu upgrade path.

P-75 (my first computer I owned myself)
    P133
    K62-500
    Celeron 300
    Athlon 600 slot a
    Duron 1200
    Athlon 1700
    Athlon 2400
    Athlon Xp 3200
    Athlon x2 4600 (current)

I do believe I am forgetting a couple.
