Its a pity that there isn't an ETA yet. I'd have loved to get one, but I suspect that the barebone alone will cost more than my whole Dell system did, based on the pricing of the GX610 and the GX700.

    Not so!

It should be a real bargin!

Realize that this is not the "biker" tattooed extreme edition, it's just the 15.4" version of this one,

Based on my calculations, the price of the barebone should come out to $879 ($90 cheaper than the 17", same as the difference between the GX610 and GX710 barebones). I paid $849 for my Dell.

    Yes so.

Actually, RK is not my first choice to buy from. Sorry RobM, nothing personal, but as I'm in Wappingers/Beacon here in lovely NY Tax Territory, I'd have to pay sales tax on the purchase. ;) Kind of prefer to avoid that if possible....though it might be handy for warranty issues, since Stony Point is within an hour drive...

EDIT: DUH! I just realized. I wouldn't have to pay shipping. And I can drive down there and see/feel the thing before I buy it! Yay! All hail RK! :)

    No ETA yet ? :(

Can I assume that the MS-163A will not and does not have TurboCard support ?
