Anyone has this problem where the mouse pointer (arrow/cursor) gets big all of a sudden? I haven't been able to look at the actual transition yet. But seems like when I bring it back from stand by, it becomes normal size again.

Also, I think I didn't have this problem before vBios update.

Disable Catalyst AI in the driver control panel.

Also, update to the 10.8 drivers from the ATI web site if you've not done so already.

AI disabled. But it doesn't seem to be helping.

I have tried updating drivers but I don't think it worked. Where do I check the driver version in my system to verify that I have the most recent drivers successfully updated?

Right now, display adapter in Device Manager says:
    3/10/2010
    v 8.720.0.0

You downloaded the drivers from the right place, but something went wrong with the installation. The 10.8 drivers are version 8.762.0 dated 8/3/2010.

Download the program Driver Sweeper and follow the instructions on the page. Uninstall all ATI software through control panel/programs and features; reboot into safe mode; run Driver Sweeper with ATI selected; reboot normally; re-install the 10.8 drivers.

GPUZ says: Driver Version: atiumdag 8.762.0.0 (Catalyst 10.8)/Win7 64
    Capture.PNG

So then I guess it is the right version? (I can never understand ATI driver numbering)
