    Hi everyone,

My graphic card(Radeon Mobility HD5870) stopped working about a week ago and there wasn't identical one locally. So some local options were Dell 6970m and Ati Firepro M8900, which i couldn't get any video output at all. Then i found a GTX 660m and thought i'll give it a try. So after installation there was no video output on laptop screen and hdmi but interestingly vga output was working. I've tried every driver and modified inf in laptopvideo2go to no avail. Both setup and have disk method didn't work. The nvidia card isn't even fully recognized in windows. You can check gpu and mainboard info here :

Memory size in gpu-z states as 2990MB which shouldn't be more than 2GB if i'm not mistaken. Also gpu has a blue pcb if it is of any help.

Do i need any bios/vbios update? Can you suggest any solution or maybe different cards that may work on my system? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    My System:

Medion Akoya x7811 laptop, Model Name : MS-1727, Bios date: 03/15/10, Version: E1727IM.107
    Win 10 Home x64
    4Gb Ram
    Radeon Mobility HD5870 1GB 128bit replaced with Nvidia GTX 660m 2GB 128bit
