    Hi, guys! A question for you:

    My GS63 Stealth-061 is weeks away from arriving, but while I wait for it I wanted to be able to study the manual that applies to my model (if there is one), so that I can begin to familiarize myself with all its bells and whistles.

    I've just downloaded what I thought was its manual off of the MSI site--the ,pdf download was next to my GS63 Stealth model, yet when I began to review the "how tos," I realized that the specifics they discussed did not always track my particular components (some did, but many did not).

    Would anyone be able to offer me a link to a .pdf manual that is specifically for my model? That is, assuming MSI offers one.

    Thanks!

    This is the only one I see [IMG] on their support site for that model: MSI GS63 7RD Stealth User's Manual

    @Phoenix, thank you very much!

    The one I downloaded this morning offers the same cover heading (and I found it next to what I thought was my MSI model), but it's 2 pages longer (go figure). I haven't compared them yet, but I'll bet the one you've just linked me to is the one I need.

    This is going to help a lot!

    Yes--and in addition to the graphics differentiation, all but one of the manuals appear to be for the Stealth Pro. I'm pretty sure mine is just plain Stealth, so when I found that page yesterday, I downloaded the first manual--or thought I did.

    Some of the specs didn't track what I knew about my own model, so I got confused. Which for me is a pretty easy-to-arrive-at state of mind.

    Now, though, using @Phoenix's link, and returning to the link you offered, I figure I must have downloaded the wrong manual. It appears that none of the manuals, once downloaded, identify themselves as belonging to any specific model.

    But no matter--I think now, thanks to @Phoenix and to you, I've got the one that's closest to my own (soon to arrive!) machine. And there's enough on the manual for me to learn a thing or two, which is my goal.

    Thanks, @zipperi--I appreciate your help!

    There's a very important section that you may want to verify, it's the hotkeys on the keyboard to toggle various of functions for the system.

    Thanks, Kevin!

    I assume you mean the "Quick Launch Keys" section? I've just scanned the page (and will have to educate myself on some of the terms used, such as "User Defined" application and the various modes), and when I receive my laptop and have it set up properly, I will experiment with the key combos to see if the machine responds to them as the manual indicates it should.

    It might make sense at some point--once I've confirmed that the manual corresponds to the model I've ordered--to print out the whole thing. It'll be easier to work with stickies and highlighting to pinpoint the areas that are of most importance to me. :)
