    I have an MSI-1674 laptop..
If you know this pc you are familiar with the hardware keys for activating/deactivating wireless internet, bluetooth etc'

    Thing is ,
for no apparent reason all the hardware keys stopped reacting to touch and are constantly off .. so I can't turn on any of the pc functions ..

    Any ideas?

Sounds like an ECFirmware malfunction or prehaps the PCB that runs the touch sensors may not be connected to the mobo.

Was it originally working normally for some time?

    What O/S are you using?

What wireless card do you have installed?

Have you updated or tried to update firmware or bios?

Do you have the SCM installed?

Try removing the battery and a/c adapter at the same time. Leave them both out for 1 hour. Before you reinstall the battery and a/c press the power button 3 or 4 times.

Thought this was a new build you just put together. Try this first:

Try removing the battery and a/c adapter at the same time. Leave them both out for 1 hour. Before you reinstall the battery and a/c press the power button 3 or 4 times.

Yeah, if not prehaps we can pull the CMOS battery, although not sure if it would make much of a difference.
