Hey guys, I've decided to get a MSI-1651 but I'm having some trouble figuring out which screen I want.

The first option is a 1280x800 WXGA Glare screen, the second a 1680x1050 WSXGA non-glare screen.

I'm leaning toward the non-glare screen but I'm wondering if that would make images and movies look less appealing, even though the non-glare has a higher resolution.

Whats the difference between the two? And there are only two choices.

I have the WXGA screen. I wish I had spent the extra money and gotten the Matte WSXGA. All I can say is...don't make my mistake. Glossy is great if you're planning to work outside. The rest of the time its annoying.

Wait, someguyoverthere, I thought Glossy screens were bad for outside use, not great as you said?

The quality of the WSXGA+ is quite good. IMO, movies play fine on it. Note that it doesn't get very bright though. That's my main issue about it. If you are often working in a well lit environment, perhaps it may not be the best for you. (I'm not talking about standard lighting, like extremely powerful lighting)

When I had my GX600 with the WSXGA+ the quality is excellent. I would say upgrade to the WSXGA+. God Bless :)
