Has anyone else noticed the considerable keyboard flex that occurs when one of the central keys is pressed? I have tried to show it as clearly as possible in this video.
Let me know if anyone else has this problem...
EDIT - Just so we're clear, I'm not even pressing down all that hard in that video. I've compared it to the other laptops in the house, a Dell Latitude D610 and a Dell Inspiron 1520. Neither of them has anywhere near this amount of flex.

your keyboard seems to depress more than mines. If I press as hard as I can, I get about that much flex, or a bit less.
-
Keyboard flexes and warps up in the central area because of tension from the mounting area.
You might wanna open that keyboard up and recheck, and re-reseat it. -

I watched the video and I think mine flexes about that much too. Although I'm spoiled by my old T30 which does not move at all. That was the biggest thing I noticed with this laptop. However I've made an attempt to type lighter now and I don't even notice it anymore.

Consult with XoticPC for available options, I think it can be fixed easily.

I'm going to leave it for now, as Centinul said, I'm going to try to type softer. -
It hasn't bothered me all that much to tell you the truth.

The keyboard on my cheapo Acer 3680 has that much flex and I have no problems typing upwards of 100 words per minute. So, I don't think it is a big deal personally.

Well, it was kind of a shock when I compared it to my gateway which had zero flex. However, at the end of the day you're just typing on the thing and you just adjust to where you use a lighter keystroke.
Far more problematic is that dang right shift key which is tiny. I am slowly getting the hang of it though.
