I'm having temperature issues with my laptop. This is the model- MSI Global – Notebook - GX620

It seems to run quite hot nowadays. I'm familiar with standard maintenance, such as cleaning out vents with compressed air, reapplying thermal paste correctly, and the like.

The best solution would be to have control of the fan speeds, but I can't find any software like SpeedFan that will work. The BIOS doesn't have any options for manual control either.

I found this older thread on the forums- http://forum.notebookreview.com/msi/396597-msi-1651-fan-control.html

They mentioned a BIOS flash might be the only way. Does anyone know of a compatible BIOS that would allow me control of the fan speeds? Or any other ideas?

    Thanks so much.
