    i was just checking their u.s. website, and this model shows "out of stock" as of today. that's great news, to see it's selling very well.

    if it wasnt for the m18x this notebook would have been my 2nd choice. i still enjoy my GX740. msi makes great notebooks :). 3 year warranty is awesome too.

    780r is maybe 5% better than mine gx740. i dont understand why they put 560m inside ???

    like some people already said....we dont want to SIDE grade !

    And 16gb of ram.....common!!!, we are not even using 4gb in full

    And all that is....MARKETING

    Except for the build quality which is much much better and probably due to a change in ODM...

    And sandy bridge :rolleyes:

    And the fact that it even supports nvidia 400 and 500 series...

    true as it may be the fact remains that 99% of the public are misinformed. There are still legitemate uses for this huge amount of ram though most of us will never need more then 8gb. marketing is all about selling the poorly informed individuals. a 4 cylinder car is just as good for the average driver as a 6 cyl but people still want the 6 cyl cars. should the manufacturers stop making 6 cyl cars because most people dont need it?
