After you register a MSI laptop, you have the option to "delete" it from your account. Does that mean somebody else could register it after that?

Last time I spoke to an agent he said, he would transfer the warranty if needed in the future. I'm just asking if it can be done without having to call in.

I would talk to them thoroughly before deleting it.

Registering an MSI warranty requires original proof of purchase so I'm not sure on the guidelines for warranty transfer.

They require proof of purchase for the extra year warranty.

The standard warranty, which is 2-years I believe on "gaming" laptops starts from the manufacturer date.

I RMA'ed a few MSI laptops recently and none required proof of purchase, just registration.
