Truth has no place in marketing.

Sad news is if you read between the lines then the GT680 being at MSI's "fastest notebook"at their "top end" pretty much says that GT760 isn't getting launched at CES.

That'd make 7 months and counting since the GT760 was shown at Computex.

GT760 will not be launched at all at least in the US. I emailed MSI sales and they confirmed it.

I was interested in the 760, if it had SLI I might have got it.

Wonder why it wont be launched.

I've been waiting months for the GT760 to be released. Looks like that may not happen. I have the GT735 and wanted to replace it with another MSI. How much longer must I wait for a newly designed, good, 17" gaming machine from MSI!

From the looks of it, Sandy bridge CPUs blow the doors off of the equivalent i5/i7 chips, so this might be worth the wait.

I hear great things about MSI notebooks. To my knowledge they don't have any midrange units (i.e. 13"-14") with dedicated GPUs, but it would be sweet if they did.

Q2 for the GT780 means another 3-6 months before we find out.

MSI can't be competitive if they're taking up to a year to bring a notebook to market.

MSi turbo is usually pretty good, wonder if they can still get you at least a 15% overclock on the CPU.
