    I've never bought a laptop before and I want to get the best deal possible.

    I was wondering if MSI resellers are known to have discounts during Black Friday, Christmas, or Boxing Day, and when the biggest discounts would be. I live in Canada.

    I plan on buying a MSI laptop around the holidays with:
    -i7 2.2ghz or more
    -Radeon 7970m or Nvidia 680m
    -17 inch glossy screen
    -Headphone jack must be on the left-hand side
    -Ethernet port must be on the left-hand side or the back

    They wont ship with 7970Ms and the 680M could be as much as 6 months off.

    True. The best discounts are for black friday, but you probably won't get the latest cards/models.
