    are MSi notebooks reliable machines? Is there a particular model that vants best quality scores?

    Hm...I hadn't heard about them until this thread, but from simply the components they are sporting on their website I would have to say that you could probably find a better option. Also, what are you looking for in a machine? Any specs you want? Screen size? Anything of preference would help us other NBR members to help you make a sound choice. Hope this helps! :)

    I was wandering the same thing, and the 1719 whitebook in particular.

    The pics on the net show a heatpipe cooling system though, sort of like them Alienwares.

    I own a MS-1039 and it is an amazing machine. Contact Rob at http://www.rkcomputer.net/store/ for all your MSI questions. He is the best one to talk to about the brand. I love my 1039. It has been very reliable for the two years that I have owned it. As for the other models, I can't comment.

    I've owned several of the 12.1 inch MSI Notebooks and have loved each of them. Very well built (magnesium alloy case) and very easy to work on. I can recommend the 1012/1013 series and the S260 / S270 series...
