    1) Put your system specs in your signature, we have no clue what you're talking about since you didn't mention your laptop's model

    2) If you were on RAID Mode, the BIOS update might have reset the settings back to default so it went back to AHCI mode so go into BIOS by hitting the DEL key when it starts, then change from AHCI to RAID

I called support and he told me I had to remember exactly what I had it set in the bios before I upgraded it. I was like ****. Messed around and finally got it. I was scared for a moment. Wouldn’t even let me get into the macrum recovery either. But I fixed it. Thanks for the help brother

Which option was changed in the BIOS? BIOS settings usually don't change from the update, unless there has been structural change on the newer BIOS then such can trigger a checksum error that causes settings to reset to defaults.

I changed it back from RAID to the other option and Legacy instead of UCIS?? Can’t remember exactly. I’m not near my computer at the moment to give exact details

Probably that was it, and boot sequence probably showed Windows Boot Manager afterwards, right?

If you have a RAID array, the system will default to AHCI mode after an update.

You meant if you had the AHCI BIOS with SATA mode set to AHCI as default?
Some models used to have two separate version of BIOS which carries either AHCI or RAID as default SATA option.

I have had the same thing. If I change from RAID to AHCI it is no longer booting and going into an infinite loop.
