I confess. I have not really looked at an MSI, nor do I know much about them. However, after my current market sweep, I am wondering if I should consider MSI too. I don't know what the reputation is for quality overall, but what do those of you who have one think of yours?
Right now I am hovering between Asus, and a chance of HP or Dell.
Need most bang for the buck, but also need something that will last me a good amount of time too.

MSI is a very good company that has been in the business for a while. I don't see anything wrong with them.
What is your budget and when would you be planning to purchase a laptop?

Best price for best performance is what i think to MSI.

You wont find better prices for the hardware you get.

Then I'd probably wait until ready to get it for sure, new tech comes out, prices go down, etc.

catacylsm is right! The only think I didn't like was that the touchpad is wearing out. There is a whole thread about that you can look at it. But if you are like me and don't use the touchpad (touchpads dosen't have place in real gaming :D, Logitech and Razer do!) I think this is the best laptop for it's price for now.
