    Hey guys,
I've ordered this laptop a few days ago and it will arrive tomorrow.

I want some information regarding the turbo fan feature in the laptop.

    1) How long can it be kept on?
    2) Will it damage the hardware if it is kept on for long hours?

I've tried looking for these answers but couldn't find much details about the turbo fan boost.

    Thanks!

Hi, i had a MSI GT780 and at summer when i`m overclock my GTX570m fan was working in max. 12h daily for a week ;) and nothing happened, that laptop have now like 2 years and still working without replacing fun so i think You don`t have to worry about that ;)

Basically you can think about it this way, MSI has a 2 year warranty regardless if it breaks or not, but then the fact they have a 2year warranty on the laptop, plus give you the feature to put the fan at max power would most likely mean they took into account the scenario where you leave it on nonstop, and they guarantee it wont break for 2 years.
