I actually ordered the 8268 right now but I realized the ge70 is cheaper with a bigger screen. Basically it's a ge70 with a i5 processor but I heard it gets really hot. I'll be saving about 100 bucks if I do get the MSI but will I have tremendous heating problems?

The Sager is going to run cooler with its dual fan design and thicker chassis. But there are not any common overheating issues with the GE70.

The Sager is also going to have a quad core CPU vs the dual core i5 so it will multitask much better.

GE70 doesn't overheat, but since it's gaming computer therefore the temperature can be higher than the typical system that only has Intel integrated display.
