MSI Global GE40 2PC Dragon Eyes

So here's another interesting alternative for slim, relatively cheap laptops. According to gaming laptop junky, its an IPS display, and looking at the build it is very portable at 4.4ish pounds and being 1.15 inches at its thickest point and .9 at its thinnest. Most importantly though, its GPU is the Gddr5 version of 850m and not the crappy ddr3 version that stuff like the n550jk has. I haven't seen many places that seem to be carrying this model however...

Yup, right now it is only available in Canada, Taiwan, Japan, and US.

The Canada / US version does not seem to have the dual mSata to Sata converter and has a dvd drive instead.

Has anyone bought this laptop yet? I'm having a really hard time deciding between this one and Gigabyte P34G v2. I prefer the overall design of Gigabyte better, but I absolutely hate the keyboard, particularly the arrow keys and the lack of dedicated Home/PgUp/PgDn/End keys. The MSI has the same layout as my current laptop, so the transition should be smoother. However, I am concerned about temperatures and build quality. Could anyone share their experience please?
