I'm not sure about this, you can check the Sager forums as they do have listings for resellers in the E.U. but it was made for Sager/Clevo resellers.
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/652403-clevo-resellers-european-union-v1.html

If they are anything like US resellers, there should be some that offer more than just Sager/Clevo laptops. :)

Cheapest place I found for UK was saveonlaptops.co.uk but its alot more expensive wherever you find it in the UK. US retailers that post internationally might still be cheaper, $1949 against £2179.

MSI machines have a global warranty and laptops are exempt from import duty (read you just pay VAT on top of the macine).

    Just so you know.

The thread of my dreams...this is until I read its contents.
I've been wondering myself "oh, where could they be? The MSI resellers..."

AND then it hit me. 2100 Pounds in the UK. Import fees from the USA. The prices....the horror...the taxes.

Deviltech offers these things. But Im not prepared to wait 1.5 months for my order to be processed there. I wont take the chances of receiving defective machines from them too. I've read stuff on the german forums about Deviltech.

In the end - there wont be any AMD 7970m official support and Im too chicken to mod the barebone so it fits and works with it.
Some DYNAUDIO speakers and STEEL SERIES KB wont be enough to sway me to go MSI, considering "tha cost".

    yea that sucks :(
Got 1 question: if i buy one from ebay from the USA, will i have to add VAT to that price?

Even with VAT only, it becomes a heavy price. Just aint worth the damn.

There's only one practical way to avoid that. Fly to USA and buy one yourself. Then use it and bring it back with you.

EU prices are 15-25% higher due VAT alone (depends on country where it is imported to), then some stuff gets even more duties on the top.

There's many things you'd rather like to be caught doing before getting caught with tax evasion/customs fraud... :p

Actually if you send through USPS priority you might get lucky and not have to pay tax :p (I was lucky enough). Apparently the reason is that they do shipments in bulk and might not have enough time to add VAT to everything so they do random checks. If you use couriers you will Definitely get taxed.

What laptops do you guys want?

    Edit:

We stock the 17 inch. Is there a lot of interest in the 15 inch? Are there other models people would like?

I don't know a hell of a lot about the MSI barebones but I do really like the 17 incher we have. I'm interested in going down this road if there is enough demand. Tell me what you want, give me suggestions and we can try work some stuff out.

Hi scott, the 15.6" barebone has identical components to the 17.3".

They use the same motherboard even. It's just the casing thats different to accept the larger screen (and a bit of foam on the bottom of the heatsink to make it fit snugly lol).

You will want to look into offering them with the backlit keyboard upgrade too.

    absolutely.

Backlight keyboard + MSI barebone (16f3, if Im correct) makes for a fine laptop.
If GTX680m does not ruin the fun with a huge price, that is.

I would definately be interested in a 1762 with Ati 7970 or nvidia 680, I cant believe there are not more MSI barebone resellers in europe, a real shame .
Does anyone know If there is a French reseller, or german other than Deviltech, UK pricing scares me . ^^
