    128GB is not a lot of space these days and SSD prices have really come down of late.

    One large capacity SSD is better for most users than a raid0 array.

    On the 18th of October Windows 8.1 will be released.

    ISO files will be available for download that can be extracted onto USB flash drives using Microsoft's USB/DVD Tool.

    Your Windows 8 serial key can be used to activate.

    If you need Windows 8.1 today there are leaked RTM ISOs available.

    I've been using the 8.1 x64 Pro RTM since it's availability.

    IMO,clean Windows installations are usually the best way to go.

    You can use the Recovery discs to restore the OS onto the new HDD.
    The stock OS is pretty lean and there aren't many suites that came preloaded so you can just go to Uninstall a program to remove the stuff you don't need.

    PM with ISO download info sent

    If your WiFi touch bar light is on during Windows 8.1 installation a driver will be installed and your WiFi should be good to go when the OS install completes.

    The Windows 8.1 installation installed drivers for all my GT780DX hardware except the card reader.

    You can turn off hibernation to gain back 12GB of space on your SSD.

    Right clicking on the taskbar>properties>navigation offers boot and command prompt options.

    This may help also with Windows 8.1

    @WhatsThePoint

    I'm having the same problem. Is it possible to get the link for the ISO as well, please? I've swapped out my 128 SSD for 3 x 250's and can't reinstall :( Help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!
