Is MSI still making barebones gaming notebooks and if so where can they be bought? My Last notebook was a MSI 680m barebone and I wanted to go the same route again.

One of the cheapest routes to go that I know of is the Eurocom Tornado F5. Desktop 6700K and 1070 in a debranded MSI GT62 case. edit: Already linked above.

One thing that strikes me is that the display options on the Eurocom are not very high quality, so keep that in mind.

As opposed to what other brand? The display in the Eurocom is exactly the same display sold in the retail GT62VR.
