If the Wind is delayed then how is that Morgan Computers say they have the Wind in stock at this moment? In my experience they are very good at keeping their stock situation updated.

I don't know. I just know that Engadget and the resellers in Netherlands are saying there is a delay.

Price at Morgan seems pretty steep at £387.74 inc VAT

I got an email saying that the preorder placed through the MSI website is now delayed again till after July 7th. They are offering overnight shipping for free, but personally I think they should throw in a 6 cell battery too. ;P

this makes me wonder if the Asus mini-notes are gonna have the exact same problems. everybody is still blaming it on the fire in the battery plant.

Agaiiiiiiiiiiin? Dude, seriously, MSI needs to get their hands on a different battery supplier, or just release the Wind with a 3 cell battery for a slightly lower price ($479 like it was earlier?). It's been delayed for 5 weeks already - if they don't hit the July 7 date, I'm pretty sure those who have pre-ordered will raise some serious hell about it.

A123 battery is good but they are for the future notebooks, with the same size as it is now, 2x as much juice and half the weight. Hopefully they will eventually get into laptop markets.
